Lighthouse Physical Therapy was founded in 1995, on the premise of prevention. It is our belief that injuries and illnesses are more easily treated if they are detected early. Through detailed examination of the musculoskeletal system, problem areas can be identified and corrected before a major problem or injury occurs. These problem areas can often be an underlying cause for their affliction so that addressing these areas can be instrumental in rehabilitating their diagnosis.
At Lighthouse Physical Therapy we work to restore the normal alignment of the body’s tissues and structures through a hands-on, one-on-one approach. We educate you on how your body functions, and guide you to a proper stretching and exercise program.
Treatments are subtle, gentle and non-invasive. Manual therapy techniques are used in conjunction with classical and innovative exercise approaches to address a wide range of diagnoses.
Some Diagnoses we see with excellent results using manual therapy include:
- Low back pain and sacral disorders
- Autoimmune problems: including Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc.
- Lymph edema
- Lyme disease
- Migraines and headaches
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
