What inspires me most about my job is watching the smiles of our patients as they gain back their lives. Many have lived with pain for many years with little hope of ever getting better. I have watched patients who have been disabled from pain find relief. My mission is to make our office relaxing, peaceful and a place where patients can take a break from their busy lives and can do something for themselves.
Lighthouse PT was my husband Dave’s vision. He wanted to create a facility where the patients came first. Where patients can be treated one on one and not rushed through. A place where he could spend time with a patient and figure out what is causing the issue. He saw how the manual techniques that he was using on his home care patients made such a huge difference in getting his patients better, faster. In 1995 we began this journey. This has become our dream that I have had the privilege to help fulfill.
I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Materials & Logistics Management. This foundation has helped me through many transitions in my career from a Manager at Marshall Fields, Software designer, trainer & QA tester at Anixter Bros., Marketing at Greenpages, Project manager at Rocket Science and now Business Manager for Lighthouse PT.
If you have any questions, comments, issues or compliments I welcome your input. We want to make every patient’s experience at Lighthouse to be a positive one. If you have a suggestion that would make your experience better please call me.
We are blessed to have two wonderful children. We have more time for ourselves as they have both graduated from High School and are enjoying adventures. I do enjoy working out, hanging with friends, reading, hiking, kayaking and traveling.
