Joined Lighthouse in 2001 (minus 1 year) – 21 years

In high school, I literally picked ‘physical therapy’ out of a big book of careers because it seemed interesting.  After graduating from the University of Vermont, I found myself in an expansive field with facets that affect every aspect of health, well-being, and personal interaction, which ignited a passion for learning that has lead to thousands of hours of training in anatomy, physiology, neurology, biomechanics, nutrition, and psychology.

This training has come through various outlets, including groups such as the Centers for Integrative Manual Therapy, Gray Institute, Lowen Systems, Upledger Institute, and more, as well as personal mentorships and self education.  I truly love integrating all these concepts to find the best solutions for each person that comes to me in the clinic.

Along the way, I’ve worked in Vermont, New Hampshire (21 years at Lighthouse!), and Colorado, owned my own practice, been a clinical advisor for the MS Society, presented to the public, taught classes to other professionals, became certified in Bowenwork, and I’m a perpetual student of the Connecticut School of IMT.

What seemed interesting when I was choosing a something as a major in college, has become an immersive pursuit for the last 21 years that still drives me.

I’ve also married a wonderful woman, spawned an amazing kid, earned a blackbelt, own a home in Lee, and swing a sword for fun.

I split my time between the Lighthouse PT Dover and Portsmouth offices.
